Re-organisation of Pathology services
Dear South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust,
Under the freedom of information act, I wish to request the following information:
The Pathology network across the UK is undergoing changes within the NHS Improvement project and will see South Tees NHS Trust labs being a Hub lab under the Agreement on
partnership operating model which has now been agreed across all Trusts in the North East.
The following information that I would like to know:
1) What is the agreement on the partnership model for the South Tees NHS Trust Labs?
2) Will the South Tees NHS Trust Labs lab downsize?
3) What will the impact be on the employment of all grades lab staff such as MLA's?
4) Would GP/Non urgent work still be booked in and/or processed at Friarage Hospital?
5) How much money would the trust save under the proposed plan?
6) When will the changes take effect?
7) Is the trust considering on outsourcing the lab to a service provider?
8) Who can I contact for further information on the proposed plan?

Thank you for you reply. The reply fails to answer questions which are pertinent and would not be subject to the trusts veto to give information. The request is made specifically for the input of South Tees foundation Trust. and the impact upon that trust.
I ask again that you re-conssider the questions and answer them in relation to the trust, the questions were asked of. In particular questions one, five , seven and eight. Although the plan has not been ratified by all trusts, some changes are already implemented.
