Lewis-Jones, Angela,

Dear Mr Millett

I am in receipt of your request made under the Freedom of Information Act
2000 (FOIA), namely:

Could you please supply me with any and all communications written and/or
electronic sent to the Inspectorate by councillors and/or council officers
concerning the above appeal by Manton House Estate and where applicable
the Inspectorate’s replies.

In order to advise and assist I would be grateful if you would clarify as
to whether you wish all documents from the council (including
representations) to be provided.  Generally, appeal documents are already
in the public domain and placed on the council’s website for interested
parties to access, as the local planning authority has responsibility for
archiving appeals.  I should also point out that, due to the age of the
appeal, the hard copy file has been destroyed in line with our retention
policies, and the information still held by the Planning Inspectorate is
limited to that held electronically.

I look forward to hearing from you in due course.

Yours sincerely

Aggie Lewis-Jones

Dear Lewis-Jones, Angela,
Re appeal APP/Y3940/W/16/3147797

I have already replied to your email...but assume my reply has got lost.

I do not need to see the Council's official representations. I do need, please, to see
all letters or emails from Wiltshire Councillors and/or Wiltshire Council officials to the
Planning Inspectorate/Inspector - if any.

Thanks for your help.

Yours sincerely,

Anthony J Millett

Dear Mr Millett

Thank you for the clarification on your request made under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 (FOIA) dated 31 January 2018.

You have asked for:

‘Any letters sent by Council staff and/or Councillors to the Inspectorate
on this appeal, if any’

I have checked our electronic records for you.  In line with our usual
procedure, the hard copy file was destroyed on 6 September 2017 as we only
hold this for a year; therefore the attached documents are the ones still
held electronically.  As all representations between the Council and the
Planning Inspectorate should already be in the public domain and held on
the Council’s website (on the basis that local planning authorities are
responsible for archiving appeal documents), I have just provided the
small number of documents sent directly to us from Councillors or past
Councillors.  Please let me know if you require anything else.

The information provided has been redacted to remove signatures, personal
telephone numbers and addresses/email addresses for personal data
protection purposes.

Please also find attached a copy of our review procedures should you be
unhappy with my response.

Yours sincerely

Aggie Lewis-Jones
