Please can you supply the following information In relation to Taxi drivers / vehicles in RCT
DRIVERS
How many Licensed drivers are there in RCT at Present?
How many Licensed Drivers are aged over 60 Years of age ?
How many NEW applications (Not including renewals) for Taxi Driver Licenses were received between March 2021 and March 2022 ?
How many of the New applications for Driver Licenses were made by persons living outside of RCT during this time?
How many Private Hire Operators Licenses are there in RCT?
How many New applications(Not including renewals ) for Operator Licenses were made between March 2021 and March 2022?
What is the ethnic break down of Drivers in RCT?
What is the ethnic breakdown of new applications for drivers between March 2021 and March 2022?
How many drivers had their badges revoked during 2021/2022 ?
How many drivers did not renew their License during 2021/2022 (not including those with badges revoked)?

How many Hackney Carriages are currently Licensed in RCT?

How much revenue was generated by the Taxi Licensing Department for the year 2021/22 ?
and can I have the Breakdown of expenditure for the Department
What is the basis and justification for increasing License fees year on year for RCT Licensing Dept whilst Hackney Tarrifs (Driver earnings) have been frozen since 2012 (A running total of 36.1% of increases for RCT Licensing Department to date which in real terms is a 31.4% increase in cost to the Taxi Operator since the rate was set in 2012. Taxi Drivers in RCT have had to absorb this and all other increases fuel etc )

2016/17 + 4.7 %
2015/16 + 6.1%
2014/15 + 7.3%

TAXI Licence Fees
How much revenue was generated by the Taxi Licensing Department for the
year 2021/22 - Total Taxi Licensing income to date for 2021/22 is
£150,270.
and can I have the Breakdown of expenditure for the Department - This
information is not currently available due to end of financial year still
being considered.
What is the basis and justification for increasing License fees year on

Licence fees for 2020/21 were frozen from the previous year, as are they
for next year. Records show that increases previously were:
2019/20 – 2.9%
2018/19 – 2.95%
Figures for the previous years are not accessible at this moment in time.
