Please send me details of any meetings held between Mike Veale and former officer Ray Mallon in 2018, including dates, times and reason for meeting

We have made enquiries within the force and following an electronic search of ex-Chief Constable Mike Veale’s online diary, using the following search parameters:
· Ray Mallon
· Mallon
· Ray
We have been advised that the searches did not yield any results. However it should be noted that this does not mean that any such meetings did not take place it may be that they were informal or simply not recorded in the diary.

The Cleveland Police response to your request is unique and it should be noted that Police Forces do not use generic systems or identical procedures to capture and record data therefore responses from Cleveland Police should not be used as a comparison with any other force response you receive.

The APP College of Policing guidance states that a request for internal review should be made within 20 working days of the date on this response or 40 working days if extenuating circumstances to account for the delay can be evidenced.
