DCC has a blanket response to all speed limits. Any objections are cast aside but no realistic points are provided. The case of the petition for speed hump removal was turned down when "the officer" recommended to Cabinet that speed was the cause of most RTAs and no other reason(s) given but in fact this is incorrect information and I am pursuing this matter with the Council and if no satisfactory outcome is received then I shall contact the ombudsman on this and other related matters.
