Thank you for your request for information regarding radon testing over
the last 20 years, sent to me on 06/08/24.
In response to your second email, 05/09/24 with regards to your reference
to the legal requirement to respond by 4th of September, as I’m sure
you’re aware, the school was closed for Summer Holidays on the day the
request was sent, and the regulations with regards to FOIA to schools
state that the time for compliance is 20 working days following the date
of receipt, excluding any day that is not a school day. The Regulations
also state that ‘working days’ exclude school holidays and ‘inset’ or
training days where the pupils are not present. Ysgol y Creuddyn reopened
for learners on Wednesday this week, 4th of September.
We have shared your request with the relevant departments within the Local
Authority and will be in contact again in due time with a full response to
your request.

In response to your FOI request regarding radon tests done at Ysgol y
Creuddyn and radon test results for the last 20 years:
 
I can confirm that Radon Testing has not been carried out at Ysgol y
Creuddyn within the last 20 years as it has not been necessary due the
Radon Levels falling within a less than 1% threshold for radon risk.
