Dear Department of Health and Social Care,

I have been referred to you by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities who claim they don't have such data yet insist on Radon Barriers in new build housing. They advised me to contact you as your deparment should hold such statistics.

Please can you advise how many hospitalisations and deaths have been attributed to Radon poisoning in the United Kingdom over the past 20 years. Please break down annually and by region.

Yours faithfully,

Chris Burton
