Dear Public Health England,
Please can you supply as a Freedom of Information or Environmental Information request, details of any Radon measurements taken in or at Rossington Colliery near Doncaster. This follows an unsuccessful request to the Coal Authority, who state they do not hold such information. I was informed by an ex-NCB occupational health practitioner that such measurements were taken some years ago.
Please can you also supply any information that would enable a reasonable comparison of the levels to be made between Rossington and other collieries, e.g a report summary or such like.
We acknowledge receipt of your email and request for information, which will be treated as a request for information under statutory access legislation.
Please note that requests under the Freedom of Information Act and the Environmental Information Regulations (EIRs) will receive a response within 20 working days from the day following the date of receipt of your request.
If the request is for your personal data (i.e. a Subject Access Request) under the Data Protection Act, then we will respond within 1 month.

Dear Mr May,
Please could you provide a postcode for the colliery so that we can search our database?
