Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
According to a previous FoI response [Ref: RFI20220345] you said there were 48 closed bullying cases in the 20/21 financial year at the BBC of which seven were related just to issues of race, religion or belief.
Your response to a different FoI request and appeal [Ref: IR2022045/RFI20220442] says that it takes you between two and three hours to examine each such file.
Please could you examine the seven closed bullying cases relating to race, religion, or belief in 2020/21 and provide me with the following information for each case:
i) A transcript of the racist or bigoted words that it was alleged the ‘bully’ used in each case, of course making such that any language which could identify an individual is omitted.
ii) The result of what happened to the person in the case Eg. Dismissal, case thrown out, written warned etc.
