Dear J Roberts,

I am writing with regards to your request for information, which was
received 20th January.

We have started to consider your request, however we require further
information before we are able to proceed.

1. Cambridgeshire Constabulary do not routinely record victims occupation
when a crime is recorded therefore the data (if available) may not be
entirely accurate.

2. Furthermore, are you are solely interested in Hate crimes recorded as a
criminal offence against Officers as reported in the Home Office Returns,
rather than Hate crimes reported internally by Officers to our
Professional Standards Department about other Officers ?

Please advise.

As you will appreciate the statutory timescale for our response to your
request will not commence until we are supplied with the further
information which we require. In the event that we do not hear from you we
will assume that you do not wish to proceed with your request.
