Quietway route from Camden Town to Little Venice

The request was successful.

Dear Westminster City Council,

Please could you send me all planning, consultation and any other internal documents as well as meeting minutes relevant to the Quietway route from Camden Town to Little Venice.

Please ensure you attach information on the development of a contraflow cycle lane on Blomfield Road, which I believe has been in the works for several years, hopefully explaining why it has been delayed for so long.

Many thanks,
Adam Jones

Please could you send me all planning, consultation and any other internal
documents as well as meeting minutes relevant to the Quietway route from

Response – Clarification required

I am writing to ask you to clarify your request. This is because the
details of your request are formulated in too general a manner making it
difficult for the Council to accurately provide you with relevant
information. Therefore I should be grateful if you would clarify whether
"all planning, consultation and any other internal documents as well as

would be happy to receive the information held on the development of a
contraflow cycle lane on Blomfield Road.

In order to assist you, I can tell you that providing all the data held is
likely to exceed the appropriate costs limit under section 12 of the
Freedom of information Act 2000.

prevent release of the information you have requested. There will be an
assessment and if any of the exemption categories apply then it cannot be
released. You will be informed if any exemptions apply.

There may be a fee payable for this information. This will be considered
and you will be informed of the fee payable if this is the case. In this

Dear T Holden,

If it would exceed the appropriate cost limits to provide all documents then limiting it just to the contraflow lane on Blomfield Road would be acceptable.

Some examples of the kinds of documents I am expecting are (but any others would be greatly appreciated e.g. emails between contractors/developers - they may need to be appropriately redacted to remove personal data):

Project drawings of the scheme area e.g. https://westminstercyclegrid.wspdigital.... (although hopefully not just showing an 'area to be reviewed' boundary)

Planning Applications Committee minutes of proceedings e.g. http://idoxpa.westminster.gov.uk/online-...

Other meeting minutes e.g. http://committees.westminster.gov.uk/doc...

Planning Applications Committee reports e.g. http://idoxpa.westminster.gov.uk/online-...

Cabinet member reports e.g. http://committees.westminster.gov.uk/doc...

Yours sincerely,

A. Jones

Dear Rob Rowe,

I'd much prefer have the documents sent electronically, makes them easier to search, store and for others to see them publically - I understand email can't be able to handle such large file sizes at once.

WhatDoTheyKnow should allow you to upload large files that are too big for email directly, please see here for guidance: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/help/offi...

Alternatively you might be able to upload it to your website on the Camden to Little Venice quietway page, seeing as it is going to be publically viewable anyways.

As a last resort, you could use one of the many free filesharing websites like Dropbox/Google Drive/Wetransfer.

Yours sincerely,
A. Jones

Dear Rob Rowe,

This request is extremely long overdue. It took you almost the limit just to tell me I was asking too much first, then even resetting the timer for that you were overdue, and now you have not responded for almost a month after my last email on sending the files.

Send the requested information ASAP via a method mentioned in my previous email and because of the reasons above, please conduct an internal review into the handling of my request.

Yours sincerely,

A. Jones

This message has been hidden. The council has accidentally released personal information; they have released both redacted an redacted correspondence from people to their councillors which the councillors passed on to the council. We have alerted the council and have asked them to send a replacement response to this thread. Please contact us if you have any questions. Dear Anthony Sabato,

Thank you for the series of emails containing the files requested. I can confirm they seem to have gotten through alright, although haven't had time to look though them all carefully yet.

You can cancel the internal review requested, as it seems you have provided the documents requested finally which is good enough for me.

Many thanks,
A. Jones

Dear Anthony Sabato,

I can confirm I've got the files again and I think that it's only the redacted ones now.

I believe it would have been the WhatDoYouKnow team who contacted you - I think they had removed the unredacted files from public reviewing within a couple of hours. Hope you didn't get in trouble, from the documents it looks like you're doing great work on these routes - I'd love to see some segregated infrastructure along there!

Many thanks,
A. Jones
