Questions with regards to new the version of http://www.colchester.gov.uk
Dear Colchester Borough Council,
Having recently seen the re-launch of the Colchester council website via twitter, I had a few questions.
1. Why wasn't a local web agency given the job of redoing the website?
2. Is the overall design yet to be completed? It looks like an unfinished wireframe.
3. As this council website falls under gov.uk - why doesn't it follow any of the gov.uk guidelines, layouts etc?
3. Was the agency involved in general Colchester branding involved at all in the website design?
4. Was any user experience work done on this project?
5. What kind of research was done around the website in terms of what people need/want etc?
6. How much did it cost to redo the website?
Yours faithfully,
~ Cerven Cotter
