Questions relating to the Iraq Historical Allegations Team (IHAT)

Iain Overton made this Freedom of Information request to Ministry of Defence

The request was partially successful.

Dear Ministry of Defence,

I would like, please, to ask some more questions relating to IHAT - the Iraq Historical Allegations Team - under the FOI act.

1. How much money has been given in contracts to Redsnapper since the creation of IHAT?
2. How much money has been spent on personnel's accommodation allowances (or whatever extra they are given for living over an hour from the HQ), since the creation of IHAT?
3. To ensure that there is not another way of accounting for such expenditure, I will also like to know how much money has been spent on relocation allowances since IHAT was created? (this question might be the same as 2. but I want to be sure).
3. How many people on IHAT's staff pay roll - please note I want staff pay roll, not hired translators in the ground - speak Arabic?
4. How much money is spent each month on paying for the STRAP facilities?
5. How much money has been spent on travel and hotels by Operation MENSA since IHAT was created? Can this be broken down into methods of transport, per diems, hotels etc.?
6. How much TOIL has been signed off since the creation of IHAT? What is the estimated cost of such TOIL?
7. How much has been spent on IT teams in IHAT and how many hours does that total amount cover in terms of work done per person (so that I can work out an average cost per hour per IT member)?

I look forward to your response to this matter. Please can you advise me if this request goes over the allocated time and, if it does, can you please offer me the most efficient use of my allowance in terms of prioritising the above questions.

If all of the above can be offered as total figures and, if easy to do, as year on year breakdowns (fiscal or annual - depending on how you catch the numbers)

Yours faithfully,

Iain Overton
