How much revenue is made in fees paid to Swansea Council's HMO Advisory Service since the service began?

Are Swansea Council planning dept officers and/or close relatives allowed by Swansea Council to be landlords?(HMO or otherwise) and if so, please specify how many are currently registered as such?

I am writing to request an internal review of Swansea Council's handling of my FOI request 'Questions re. HMO advisory service and landlords'.

Whilst I am grateful for the information provided in response to my FOI request the response is incomplete as the second part of the second question, "...and if so, please specify how many are currently registered as such?" has not been answered.

The question was not posed in relation to any particular planning applications. I am grateful for the information about declaration of interests but this information was not requested. Please clarify how many landlords are employed in the planning dept.

In your request for a review, you specifically asked how many Planning Department officers are registered as landlords / how many landlords are employed in the Planning Department.

Having made further enquiries I am given to understand that the Authority does not hold this information.

Thank you for your reply.

The previous reply had explained that if planning dept staff were themselves in a position of potential conflict of interests then a declaration of such interests would need to be made by the staff concerned.

In order to have answered the question regarding how many officers are landlords I might have assumed that the number could be deduced from the number of current declarations of interests that may or may not exist from within that department.

It is impossible to answer the question by searching the register of landlords without reference to names, which is certainly not what I wished, wish or intend to do as it is numbers and certainly not named individuals on which the original question was based.

Thus please could you refer to the relevant declarations of interests on the grounds of landlord status, should indeed they exist, in order to answer the question.
