The request was successful.

Dear Post Office Limited,

In your response to FOI2023 00402 you released Data Sharing to Facilitate Membership of NFSP. https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/1...

The released document mentions clauses 3 & 4, but only clauses1 & 2 have been released.
Could you provide the rest of the document, please?

Clause 1.5 states “On a monthly basis NFSP will provide POL with a list of all NFSP members (comprising full postmaster name and FAD Code).”
Could you please provide the number only of members the NFSP reported to POL on:
Jan 2016
Jan 2017
Jan 2018
Jan 2019
Jan 2020
Jan 2021
Jan 2022
& Jan 2023.

Could you also supply a copy of the Terms of Reference for the New Network Location Review Panel (“NNL Review Panel ToR”), please?

Using clause 1.6 “POL shall have the right to use the information provided by NFSP pursuant to Clause 3.5 for POL's business and administration purposes, including ascertaining and
recording which postmasters are NFSP members and which postmasters are not NFSP
members.”

Has POL ever found errors in the reporting by the NFSP?

Has POL ever checked the names supplied against your records are the same?

How are differences rectified?

Yours faithfully,

brent jay

Dear Brent Jay,

Thank you for your emails of 3 August 2023. Under section 12(4) of the
Freedom of Information Act 2000 ("FOIA"), Public Authorities are permitted
to aggregate two or more separate requests received by one person, that
relate to the same or similar information.

We have therefore aggregated your 2 requests and will handle them as one
under the FOIA. The Act requires that a response must be given promptly,
and in any event within 20 working days. We will therefore reply at the
latest by 4 September 2023.

Please remember to quote the reference number above in any future

Dear Brent Jay

We are writing in respect of your information request, FOI2023/00461. At
present our view is that your request falls within the scope of the
qualified exemption at section Section 43 (2) Commercial Interests of the
Freedom of Information Act (" FOIA"), relating to Data Sharing to
Facilitate Membership of NFSP.

As permitted by section 10 of the FOIA, Post Office Limited (" Post
Office") requires further time to consider the public interest test in
relation to this exemption. An extension is permitted until such time as
is reasonable in the circumstances. Having considered the FOIA Code of
Practice, Post Office considers that an extension of 20 working days is
appropriate in this instance and will therefore aim to respond to you by
2nd October.
