I am pleased to provide some of the information you have requested. I have detailed
below the information.
I can confirm that the remainder of the information you have requested is held
by Northumberland County Council, by law. However, I'm unable to give this to you.
Under section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act (FoIA), we are not required to
provide information in response to a request if it is already reasonably accessible to
you.
This response therefore acts as a refusal notice under section 17 of the FoIA.
Q.1 Please would it be possible to know what year construction started on Brockwell
Middle school Cramlington.
A.1 We don't have a Brockwell Middle School, so we will assume this is Burnside
Primary (former Brockwell Middle School).
Build date according to our records was 1980.
Q.2 If possible architect drawings and building materials used.
A.2 Some of this response is withheld under Section 21 - see application B/79/C/278

applications/search.do?action=simple Building materials used - brick cavity walls, steel frame, flat AMD mono roof, felted
metal decking.
Q.3 Also, was asbestos used in the construction?
A.3 There would be a possibility of asbestos containing materials being used,
asbestos cement, vinyl floor tiles etc. although none have been detected on this site
during survey work.
