Question about train motor replacements

how often the motors on 1996 stock trains need to be replaced?

 

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of
the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. 

 

The motors are overhauled around every 12 years. Please note they are not
replaced but overhauled.
