Thank you for your request which was considered under the Environmental
Information Regulations 2004.
Request:
Please would it be possible to know if there has been any recorded
incidents of asbestos exposure at Cramlington Learning Village school?
Northumberland County Council is refusing your request under Regulation
12(4)(a) as we do not hold this information. Cramlington Learning Village
opted out of the service that the Council provides so you would need to
contact Cramlington Learning Village direct to ask for this information.

Exceptions to the duty to disclose environmental information:
12. - (1) Subject to paragraphs (2), (3) and (9), a public authority may
refuse to disclose environmental information requested

disclose information to the extent that—
(a) it does not hold that information when an applicant’s request is
received

Internal Review
The Internal Review will be conducted by an independent officer who will
consider whether:
- the response provided was handled correctly under the terms of the EIR;
- there have been any developments since the original response;
- the information contained within the response was correct and true, as
of the date of responding;
- any further information should be provided;
- there are any lessons for handling requests in the future.
Once this review has been completed you will be contacted directly by the
independent officer with their report. The officer will aim to respond to
the Internal Review within 20 working days.
