Dear Requester

Thank you for your request for information from Durham University.
Colleagues have provided the information below/attached in response to
your questions.

Please note the following about the data provided:

• All data has been rounded to the nearest 5 as per HESA guidelines on
rounding and suppression of data, numbers below 5 are suppressed and
are denoted by 0
• Data for admissions cycle 2022-23 (for entry Oct 2023) has been
provided (NB data for the current cycle (2023-24, entry 2024) will not
be available until after the cycle ends in Oct 24 as it is currently
in progress)
• Applications includes all who applied for the course regardless of the
outcome of their application
• Offers includes conditional and unconditional offers
• Applications from China have been defined using nationality, as
requested

I would be very grateful if you can kindly provide the following data
(hopefully in a spreadsheet format) for 2023/24 admission cycles (i.e.
autumn 2023 intake), until the date you reply to me:

- The number of applications received for each undergraduate program. See
attached document: 1. UG Apps&Offers - All

- The number of offers made for each undergraduate program. See attached
document: 1. UG Apps&Offers - All

- The number of applications received for each undergraduate program (from
Chinese nationals) See attached document: 2.UG Apps&Offers- Chinese

- The number of offers made for each undergraduate program (to Chinese
nationals). See attached document: 2. UG Apps&Offers-Chinese

If you are dissatisfied with the University’s response to your freedom of
information request, you can ask us to internally review our handling of
your request, including the application of any exemptions applied. This
must be within 40 working days from the date of our response to you.

enclose any other information that may be useful in considering the matter
