Query as to surface water drainage installed on the South West Cycle Way, segregated cycling infrastructure located on Shields Road, Glasgow, G41.
Dear Glasgow City Council,
a) What specification of drainage was installed to drain surface water from the South West Cycle Way(SWCW), particularly for the stretch on Shields Rd that runs between St Andrew's Rd and Scotland St, G41?
b) If this drainage was chosen and installed in accordance with the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges, please make reference to the relevant parts of that document in explaining how that choice and installation was arrived at.
c) How many reports of flooding have been received by GCC for the length of the SWCW specified above? Please list the location, date and nature of each instance reported.
d) What discussion/correspondence has there been within GCC in relation to the flooding problem?
e) What site investigations as to the cause of water not draining have been made?
f) What were the findings of such investigations?
g) What remedial steps, if any, were identified?
h) What remedial steps, if any, have been attempted and when?

Thank you for your reply.
I believe the cycle route was opened in October 2015 but was constructed several months prior. So far as reports of problems with it are concerned, I am looking for all reports from whenever the route was finished, which I believe may have been around July 2015. Hopefully the council will have an accurate date for that event. If not, then please use 1 July 2015 as the commencement date.
