Request under the Freedom of Information Act (Scotland) 2002

Thank you for your request received on 3 December 2018 requesting that the
following information be provided to you:

“a) What specification of drainage was installed to drain surface water
from the South West Cycle Way(SWCW), particularly for the stretch on
Shields Rd that runs between St Andrew's Rd and Scotland St, G41?

b) If this drainage was chosen and installed in accordance with the Design
Manual for Roads and Bridges, please make reference to the relevant parts
of that document in explaining how that choice and installation was
arrived at.

c) How many reports of flooding have been received by GCC for the length
of the SWCW specified above? Please list the location, date and nature of
each instance reported.

d) What discussion/correspondence has there been within GCC in relation to
the flooding problem?

e) What site investigations as to the cause of water not draining have
been made?

f) What were the findings of such investigations?

g) What remedial steps, if any, were identified?

h) What remedial steps, if any, have been attempted and when?”
