Dear Sandra Nicholson,

Ref: FOI 06501

Thank you for your information request received on 4 February for
information about market research meetings arranged by Teamsearch.

I have treated your request under the Freedom of Information Act. I
confirm that we hold the information requested and this is provided below.

Please note that from 31 January, Radioactive Waste Management Limited
(RWM) and LLW Repository Limited began operating as Nuclear Waste
Services. Please send future information requests to
[1][email address].

Could you please tell me how many Zoom meetings have been arranged for RWM
by a company called Teamsearch?

There are 4 meetings planned during the week beginning 14 February which
will be held via Zoom.

Can you tell me how many participants there are for each zoom meeting?

We aim to have between 6-8 participants with a maximum of 8 for each Zoom
meeting.

Can you tell me what fee is paid to participants in these zoom meetings?

The research agency pays a £50 incentive to each participant as a thank
you. This is not a fee from Nuclear Waste Services.

Can you tell me if you employ any other data collection agencies and if
you do what is their purpose.?

During the Zoom meetings, Teamsearch are undertaking a recruitment
exercise for qualitative research. We have also contracted our research
partner, Yonder, to provide public opinion data collection about the
geological disposal facility (GDF).

Can you tell me the process of invitation to join one of the
aforementioned zoom meetings?

Teamsearch contact people using random digit dialling for certain area
codes and publicly available contact details.

Can you tell me once, an invitation is extended to join a zoom meeting  is
there further criteria for acceptance on to that zoom meeting?

When Teamsearch have a call that is answered, they ask if the person would
be happy to attend a focus group and ask questions to confirm that they
meet the criteria. If the criteria are not met, the interview is ended. If
the person does meet the criteria, they are invited to join the Zoom
meeting. The criteria questions that are asked are:

* Would they be nervous to speak out in a group discussion?
* Have they taken part in similar research?
* Are they confident to use the technology in focus groups?
* Are they closely involved in anything that is related to the
discussion subject?
