Dear Mr Ainsworth

Freedom of Information Act 2000

I am responding to your request for information made under the Freedom of
Information Act (2000)

You have asked the following questions:

* Can you confirm Price Waterhouse Copper have been commissioned by
Cheshire East and in what capacity?
* What have they been paid?
* What savings if any have they made for the council?

The attached spreadsheet details the payments that Cheshire East Council
has made to PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) during the last three years.  You
will see from the list of payments that PwC have provided a range of
services to the Council over that time.

The main project that PwC have supported the Council with during this time
is the Digital Customer Services Programme.  You can find details on this
project in the report submitted to Cabinet on 31 March 2015 (item 158)
that is available on our website.

The report outlines the business case for the Digital Customer Services
project, included the anticipated savings from the project.  The
anticipated savings have been included in the Council’s Budget and Medium
Term Financial Strategy which are also available on our website.
