Under FOISA I require the following information which I understand will be readily available as part of your basic HR and Procurement function-

1) How many support staff including part-time and sessional workers do you employ at your College as of today's date?
And how many have PVG certification?

2) How many teaching staff including part-time and sessional workers do you employ at Your College as of today's date?
And how many have PVG certification?

3) How many Outsourced staff work at Your College across all campuses and how many have PVG certification?

4) I request copies of all correspondence between Edinburgh College and any outsourced contractor outlining PVG requirements for their staff to work at the College as part of the official tendering process.

To be clear, all copies of correspondence relating to PVG as part of any tender tender between your college and a third party external contractor is requested. I understand any only personal data will be redacted per the DPA 2018 and GDPR.

Thank you for your request received on 16 06 18 requesting information
from City of Glasgow College. The response from this College is as
follows:
1) How many support staff including part-time and sessional workers do you
employ at your College as of today's date?
And how many have PVG certification?
A total of 570 support staff were employed on the 16th June 2018, 548 of
these staff have a completed PVG.
2) How many teaching staff including part-time and sessional workers do
you employ at Your College as of today's date?
And how many have PVG certification?
A total of 857 teaching staff were employed on the 16th June 2018, 833 of
these staff have a completed PVG.
3) How many Outsourced staff work at Your College across all campuses and
how many have PVG certification?
A total of 16 outsourced staff were employed on the 16th June 2018, all
have a completed PVG.
4) I request copies of all correspondence between Edinburgh College and
any outsources contractor outlining PVG requirements for their staff to
work at the College as part of the official tendering process.
We have assumed that you are looking for all correspondence between City
of Glasgow College etc. Please see attached ITT for our Catering Supplier
and for our Manned Security Services. There are relevant provisions at
schedule 7 page 48 of the Catering tender and on the 4th page of schedule
2 of the Manned Security Services tender.
If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the
right to ask for an internal review. Internal review requests should be
submitted within 40 working days of the date of receipt of the response to
your original letter and should be addressed to: Paul Clark, College
Secretary.
