Thank you for your email of 15 August 2024 requesting the following information:
“Can you please advise who I should contact regarding the possible purchase of a small
parcel of agricultural land in the vicinity of Keevil Airfield, which may be owned by the
Ministry of Defence. The field is centred on Grid Reference ST 92194 57677 and the
access gate to the field off Martins Road in Keevil is GR ST 92278 57765.
I would like to purchase the land, so I can gift it back to the village and would be willing to
sign any covenants that are required.”
I am treating your correspondence as a request for information under the Freedom of Information
Act 2000 (FOIA).
A search for the information has now been completed within the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and I
can confirm that no information, in scope of your request is held.
Under Section 16 of the FOIA (Advice and Assistance), you may find it helpful to know that the
land parcel you are interested in purchasing, has an ongoing defence requirement and is not for
sale.
