Dear Burnley High School,
Please could you publish the number of applications (as first, second and third choice) for pupils wishing to attend the Burnley Freeschool Sept 2014.
The number of pupils whose home postcode is;
less than 1 mile
between 1 mile and 3 miles
between 3 miles and 5 miles
between 5 miles and 7 miles
more than 7 miles
from the proposed school.

Dear Mr Waring,

Thank you for your request. Please do note that at present, the actual
figure for applicants is fluid, while parents are still deciding which
school they will send their child to. This reflects the increased parental
choice that is so important to parents and the Department for Education.

Once parents have made their final decision, and Lancashire County Council
have been informed, we will be in a position to provide final figures.
