Pupil data: Department for Education ICO audit

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Department for Education should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Department for Education,

I am writing to make an open government request for all the information to which I am entitled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, under its statutory timeframe.

In October 2020, the Information Commissioner's Office published a summary of the audit it carried out of the Department for Education between late 2019 and March 2020.

In January 2021 the DfE published a written response to the audit with a promised further update in June 2021.

In April 2021, then Minister, the Rt Hon Nick Gibb MP promised an update would be published in response to parliamentary question UIN 179576 (tabled April 12, 2021) together with furter details regarding "the release mechanism of the full audit report."

Please provide:

1) a copy of the full audit report
2) a timeline of work intentions created as a result -- please provide each version if and when there have been significant changes made to this (i.e the current version each 6 months in 2020 and 2021 available to date, should it have changd since the previous one).

Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,

Jen Persson
