Dear Caerphilly County Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Caerphilly County Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'Public Rights of Way length information'.

Thank you for your almost complete response to my enquiry. Although you point me to a page of promoted links. However this only gives me lengths of routes on those leaflets. I am asking for your network the distance of path that is promoted as part of a national regional or local walk the Council has some responsibility for. Can you confirm if the mileages of these leaflets include this sections on public road or in other authority areas. If this is the case please can I have the distance just for those portions of these routes on rights of way within Caerphilly if it is available.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/p...

Yours faithfully,

Rebekah Wryatt

However, to clarify our earlier response, parts will be on public roads
and parts are within neighbouring Authorities.

We do not hold information concerning distances outside of our authority
or which utilise public roads.

Dear Caerphilly County Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Caerphilly County Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'Public Rights of Way length information'.

Do I take it from this answer provided my Mr Denbury

"We do not hold information concerning distances outside of our authority
or which utilise public roads."

you do hold such information for those promoted rights of way within your county and if so will you now supply it please.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/p...

Dear Rebekah Wryatt

Thank-you for response received on 3rd January 2019.

To clarify our earlier responses, we do not hold the length of Public
Rights of Way which make up promoted routes.  The breakdown of the routes
by public right of way, public road, and private land is not recorded.

We do hold the total distance of the routes.  This is available online via
the link previously provided.  However, more direct links are provided -

(i)
[1]http://your.caerphilly.gov.uk/countrysid...

(ii)
[2]http://your.caerphilly.gov.uk/countrysid...

These leaflets only record the total distance of these routes regardless
of what it travels over or in which county it resides which is not
recorded.

Yours sincerely
