Public Responses to the 2010 Occupation of the University Combination Room
Dear University of Cambridge,
you will see that it is possible to read a statement by the University Proctors following the end of the student occupation of the University Combination Room between 26 November and 6 December 2010:
http://www.cam.ac.uk/univ/notices/procto...
However, I note that the Vice-Chancellor's contemporary statement on the same events, for which a link has been provided, has not been available on the University website since early January 2011, when it was apparently taken down:
http://www.cam.ac.uk/univ/notices/VCstat...
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I am requesting that you supply me with the following information:
1) the text of the Vice-Chancellor's statement as it appeared on the website on 15 December 2010 (if this text is not available, I will accept the closest version of this text you do have available, provided you also supply the date of that version);
2) when and for what reason(s) the Vice-Chancellor's public statement on these events was removed from the University's website;
3) any other public written statements on the subject of the occupation of the Combination Room or associated student protests in the last quarter of 2010, made by University Officers either to the press or on University websites, between 23 November 2010 and 31 January 2011.
Please reply electronically and to this email address only.
Yours faithfully,
