Dear Mr Smith

Thank you for your information request of 23^rd July 2015.  Aberdeen City
Council (ACC) has completed the necessary search for the information
requested.

Could you provide the following in relation to your Public Mortuary :

a)      a comparative spend for the last 2 years on personal protective
equipment and uniform for staff?

2013/14 expenditure = £3265.96

2014/15 expenditure = £2020.46

b)      a list of the personal protective equipment and uniform by type,
product and manufacturer?

See attached list – EIR-15-0897 Protective equipment and clothing.docx.
We generally only hold records of the supplier, not the manufacturer.

c)       with the recent ebola outbreak was there an increase or any
specialist equipment stockpiled as a precaution and if so what was the
cost?

No extra specialist equipment stockpiled.  The mortuary is not able to
accepted deceased with Category 4 biological infections such as Ebola or
suspected Ebola infection.

We hope this helps with your request.

Yours sincerely,

Jacqueline Gillanders
