Public "Deal" Celebration Dinner

The request was successful.

Dear Sandwell College,

In the minutes of your Board of Governors dated 16th December, 2013 at B13.186 you state, inter alia:

"The Acting Principal suggested that the College should host a dinner early in the New
Year to celebrate the partnership that had been developed with the Council.
Members agreed that this should include a visual display of the development of the
sixth form centre and the introduction of the new Principal and Chief Executive to the
Council. It was suggested that members of the press should be invited to attend.

RESOLVED:

g) that the College arrange to host a dinner early in the New Year to celebrate
the partnership developed with Sandwell MBC ."

Please state:

1. The name of "The Acting Principal" at the time;
2. Where and when the dinner took place;
3. Whether alcohol was provided at the dinner;
4. The cost of the dinner and confirmation of who paid for it ;
5. The names and status of all those who attended. In respect of press please state the name of each person and his/her employer.

2.    The suggested dinner has not taken place and is not planned to take
place.
