In light of the extension on the ban and the consultation launched this week, can we move forward with getting
a time in for young people to meet directly with Wes?
It would give a lot more legitimacy to claims that this is about the safety of young people if we can make time
for the young people themselves to articulate some of the nuance of how this is impacting on them.
Thanks,
Pip

Dear
,
I've attached photos of
letter here for ease and can send digital versions of the others through too if you
would like but didn't want to overload your inbox.
We'd very much like to take up Wes' offer to meet with young people and can co-ordinate a visit between our youth
organisations to London for ease of having a joint meeting where you are based. Would you be able to propose
some dates and times and we can take forward logistics from there?
If it is at all possible within the summer holidays, that's obviously much easier for the young people who would
otherwise be in school but appreciate that may be too soon.
Many thanks,
Pip

Hi al ,
With my sincere apologies, we have had an immovable (and unmissable) meeting go into the Secretary of State’s
diary at the time that this roundtable was planned. Unfortunately, that means we’ll need to shift the timing of this
meeting to 16.15 – 17.45, on the same date (Tuesday 30 July).
I appreciate this is quite late in the day for the roundtable to finish – unfortunately this is the only way to ensure it
happens on Tuesday.
Best,
