Thank you for your request for information regarding PTS  which we
received on 30 June 2015.

 

We will deal with this request in accordance with your right of access to
information we hold under the Freedom of Information Act and I attach a
leaflet containing further information about both your rights and our
obligations under this legislation. You will see from this that we are not
obliged to generate information we do not already hold in order to provide
what we are asked for, such as by collating data or formulating direct
answers to questions, but you are entitled to receive copies of records
(or extracts from them) that contain the information you have requested.

 

We will research the information you have requested and we will respond
providing what we hold no later 28 July 2015 in accordance with the
timescales set by the Act.

 

We will inform you if:

a) We are unable to provide you with any of the information you have
requested, and explain the reason for this; and

b) Any fee that is payable for the information we are able to provide.

I refer to our acknowledgement on 02 July 2015 of your request for
information regarding Patient Transoport Service contracts under the
provisions of the Freedom of Information Act.  We are able to provide the
following information:

Please note: The Information Tribunal have
ruled that direct telephone and e-mail
contacts for staff, other than those who are a
published public point of contact, are exempt
from the right of access to information we
hold under section 36 of the FoIA (where it
would be prejudicial to the effective conduct
of public affairs). This is on account of the
interference that it would cause for staff if
their direct contact details were publicly
available and the impact this would have on
their ability to carry out their duties
effectively.

and the related contracts I can confirm that South Western Ambulance
that you currently hold. Service NHS Foundation Trust provides Patient
Transport Services for the Bristol, North
Somerset & South Gloucestershire CCG. This is
a five and a half year contract which expires
on 31st March 2016.
