Dear Abbey Grange Church of England Academy, Leeds,

taking the time to answer my questions.

I am conducting research under the Freedom of Information Act. Thank you for
taking the time to answer my questions.

The terms involved in this topic can often become muddled. For the purposes of this
FOI I am using the following definitions:
Sex = biological or natal sex
Gender = the way in which a person chooses to present or identify. This may differ
from their sex.

1. In the last five years, has your school invited any third party, charity or lobby group
into the school to teach the PSHE and RSE curriculum (this includes online
resources)? If yes, please list these organisations and the pupil year groups involved.

2. In relation to the teaching of PSHE or RSE does the school website include links to
any third party, charity or lobby group? If so, please list these organisations.

3. Does your school allow parents to view RSE teaching materials, whether produced
in-house or provided by an external agency?

I would be grateful if you would send me copies of any materials that you currently
use for teaching students about sex and gender. Examples might include worksheets,
lesson plans, leaflets, PowerPoint presentations, etc.

Yours faithfully,

Sasha Watson
