Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
What is the annual rate of interest charged for people who choose to pay their licence fee by the £6 weekly payment plan?
Does the weekly plan only cover them for the one year or does it cover following years?

Yours faithfully,

Sarah Conner

Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of British Broadcasting Corporation's handling of my FOI request '£6 payment plan for TV licence'.

Thank you for stating there is no interest on any of the payment plans specifically the £6 weekly plan. Please pass thing on to whoever does the internal review.
I would like to highlight that the weekly plan is for £312 per year and the TV tax is less than half of that amount if there is no interest then where does the extra money go from the £6 weekly payments? If there is no interest then every person who has paid £6 weekly is due more than 50% back plus interest.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/p...

Yours faithfully,

Sarah Conner

Dear FOI Enquiries,
If there is no difference in the cost of the licence then provide a breakdown of the costs in the £6 monthly licence fee for example how much are the costs of collecting the £6 a week either weekly fortnightly or every four weeks? Why is the fee the same if done by direct debit or over the counter payment plan?

Yours sincerely,

Sarah Conner
