The Authority has 2 PRU’s Ty Gwyn Eduction Centre and Tai Education Centre

The Authority has provision for Year 2  to Year 11 aged pupils

 

3.       How many students are registered in each PRU?

The majority learners are dual registered.  Single registration only
occurs in exceptional circumstances, e.g. children who are permanently
excluded from mainstream, new admissions in county, etc.

 

7. Please confirm if PRUs are subject to national categorisation and if so
what are the current categorisations for each unit?

 

Both PRU provisions within our Authority are categorised as ‘ Green’

 

8. Please provide statistics detailing the number of learners who were re-
integrated back to mainstream education from a PRU for the last three
years for which this data is available
