Provision of Telecare Services across the Authority

We're waiting for Michael Davis to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Elmbridge Borough Council,

Please would you take the time to respond to our FOI questions below to help us to develop and improve our service offerings.
1. How many Service Users / Clients do you have in the Community - Adults
2. How many Service Users / Clients do you have in residential care? – Adults
3. How many clients have moved from Community services into residential care over the past 12 months?
a. How many had Telecare?
b. How many had mobile / SIM based Telecare?
4. How many new clients are receiving Community Care?
a. FY 2021 / 22
b. FY 2022 – to date
5. What is the current rate for domiciliary care per hour in the community to the Local Authority?
6. What is the current cost of a Residential placement per week to the Local Authority?
7. How many days have you been charged for clients in hospital that have been medically fit for discharge and awaiting community care?

We are not a Local Authority that provides social care and from your
request it is unclear if you require information on telecare provided via
social care or to the private pay market.

 

Please clarify this for us so that we can answer your questions. We also
would benefit from clarification on what you mean by community care (is
this social care funded care?)

 

Questions 5, 6 and 7 do refer to a social care authority and for answers
to those in this area you will have to contact Surrey County Council.
