Request Under Environmental Information Regulations 2004

Thank you for contacting Canal & River Trust with your request for information, which was 
received on 19 October 2023. 
I note your request for the fol owing information, and I wil  provide the answer in the table 
below:  
The number of new (this is to be taken to include facilities brought back in to 
service since the transfer of undertaking from BWB. But not refurbished 
existing facilities) by year since the 2012 transfer date. Each request should 
only include data for facilities available for public use, not where they are 
limited to use by employed CRT staff, volunteers or contractors etc. 
1.) 
Elsan type sanitation points for sewerage waste disposal (where use was 
envisaged primarily for use by pleasure boat licence holders*). 
 
2.) 
Drinking water supply points (with a tap type head, designed or meant 
for use to fil  a boats fresh drinking water tank, where use was envisaged 
primarily for use by pleasure boat licence holders*) 
 
3.) 
Drinking water supply points of a drinking fountain or other similar type 
(primarily designed for use by pedestrians or day visitors*) 
 
4.) 
Pump out type toilet emptying facilities.
