We refer to previous correspondence regarding your request for information
relating to: Provision of Bins.

The information is given below:

How residents to a new property obtain black/grey/green/purple bins?
Requests can be made online at

Residents can contact our customer services team by phone on 01529 414155
if they do not have access to the internet.

Cost to resident of each bin? (including breakdown of cost such as bin,
admin, delivery) £80 for a black residual waste bin, a green lidded
recycling bin and a purple lidded paper and card bin.

Can the resident collect the bins?

There is no option for a customer to collect bins.

Time it takes to process the request?

We have a target to deliver new bin requests within 5 working days from
receipt of the request.

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the
right to ask for an internal review. Internal review requests should be
submitted within two months of the date of receipt of the response,
quoting the above reference number, via email at: [North Kesteven District Council request email] or
by post to North Kesteven District Council, Corporate and Customer
Services, Kesteven Street, Sleaford, Lincs, NG34 7EF.

If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have
the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a
