With regard to each member of the expert panel, please provide full details of what knowledge, experience and expertise they have on the use of cannabis as medicine including but not restricted to cannabis-based medicines.

Dear Department of Health and Social Care,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department of Health and Social Care's handling of my FOI request 'Provide details of expertise of members of expert panel on cannabis-based medicines'.

I am not satisfied with the response because it fails to address my FOI Request. All it does is refer me to the published biographies of the members of the expert panel which make no mention of any knowledge, experience and expertise they have on the use of cannabis as medicine including but not restricted to cannabis-based medicines.

If it is the case that none of the members have any such knowledge, experience and expertise then please confirm this. If not, as stipulated in the original FOI Request, please provide full details.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/p...

Yours faithfully,

Peter Reynolds

The panel obviously hold no experience of cannabis whatsoever. The whole thing is a complete farce.

I have no doubt you're 100% correct Tyrone. I think the truth is that they are pillars of the medical establishment drafted in to give cover to ministers and thereby enable the govt to evade the real issues.

Don't be surprised if the next response is also evasive.
