Prosecutions against illegal Voi and ebike riders

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Commissioner should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Commissioner, I have experienced several near misses as a cyclist in Bristol predominantly caused by the following, people riding Voi scooters two or three people up and ebike riders riding illegal ebikes and dressing in a manner to make themselves difficult to identify. Black apparel no lights whatsoever.
Recently 12/08/2023 as I was negotiating a traffic light controlled junction where I had been stationary waiting for a green light when the light went green I moved forward only to be almost knocked off by 8 or 9 nine riders running a red light at speeds well in excess of 20 miles per hour.
It seems to me that none of these riders and yes I include illegal riders working for Deliveroo and similar are ever stopped let alone prosecuted.
I am therfore requesting information as to the numbers of prosecutions for illegal e scooter and ebike riding made by Avon and Somerset police from 2020 to current.

Yours faithfully, Robin Paul Arber.
