InfoMgr, FinDMT, Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council

Dear Ms Crean

Thank you for your recent correspondence which has been processed as a request for environmental information under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIRs)

Regulation 8 of the EIRs allows a public authority to charge for making environmental information available provided the charge does not exceed an amount which it is satisfied is reasonable (Reg 8(3))

Before a public authority is able to levy a charge under the EIRs, Regulation 8(8) requires the Authority to publish and make available to applicants a schedule of its charges and information on the circumstances in which a charge may be made. Wirral Council publishes its fees and charges policy online at: https://www.wirral.gov.uk/sites/default/...

Alternatively the information sought can be accessed for inspection, free of charge, under Regulation 8(2) of the EIRs. If you wish to do so, please contact [email address] or 0151 606 2020 to arrange a time to view the files.

In line with the Council’s published schedule of fees and charges and Regulation 8(1) of the EIRs, should you wish to proceed with your enquiry please complete the online request form at http://www.wirral.gov.uk/planning-and-bu...

You have the right to request an Internal Review of the Council’s handling of your request for information. Any such request should be sent to [Wirral Borough Council request email]/ After an Internal Review has taken place, if you remain dissatisfied, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/Global/contact_us

Yours sincerely

Dear InfoMgr, FinDMT,

Further to your response to make an appointment with the council as advised, the contact details provided are incorrect- can I ask that you confirm by return the department that I need to contact to view the public registers?

thanks

Yours sincerely,
