Dear Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council,

Please provide a list of all Proposed Road schemes as per the CON29 questions:

(a) the centre line of a new trunk road or special road specified in any order, draft order or scheme
(b) the centre line of a proposed alteration or improvement to an existing road involving construction of a subway, underpass, flyover, footbridge, elevated road or dual carriageway
(c) the outer limits of construction works for a proposed alteration or improvement to an existing road, involving:-
(i) construction of a roundabout (other than a mini roundabout), or
(ii) widening by construction of one or more additional traffic lanes
(d) the outer limits of:-
(i) construction of a new road to be built by a local authority
(ii) an approved alternation or improvement to an existing road involving the construction of a subway, underpass, flyover, footbridge, elevated road or dual carriageway or
(iii) construction of a roundabout (other than a mini-roundabout) or widening by the construction of one or more additional traffic lanes
(e) the centre line of the proposed route of a new road under proposals published for public consultation
(f) the outer limits of:-
(i) construction of a proposed alteration or improvement to an existing road involving the construction of a subway, underpass, flyover, footbridge, elevated road or dual carriageway
(ii) construction of a roundabout (other than a mini-roundabout) or
(iii) widening by construction of one or more additional traffic lanes, under proposals published for public consultation.

The regulations came into force on 1 January 2005.

Thank you for your email of today's date. Please accept my apologies for the incorrect reference to the Freedom of Information Act 2000, your enquiry does fall within the scope of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR). Please disregard my earlier reply and accept this as the Council’s response to your enquiry.

Regulation 8 of the EIR allows a public authority to charge for making environmental information available provided the charge does not exceed an amount which it is satisfied is reasonable (Reg 8(3))

Before a public authority is able to levy a charge under the EIR, Regulation 8(8) requires the Authority to publish and make available to applicants a schedule of its charges and information on the circumstances in which a charge may be made.
