Dear Jethwa Jaina,
FAO Carol White
Thank you very much for the above disclosure, and your letter of 15th February, posted and received today.
I am pleased to learn that the closure of Forest House was never proposed without consultation. This was certainly not the perception among either staff at Forest House, other clinicians, or the public, as far as I am aware. A consultation which the relevant parties are not informed of does not seem to me to have been managed correctly, if you don't mind me saying.
I see in your disclosure many references to the consultation, but none to the development of the proposal of closing Forest House. I'd be grateful therefore if you could please comply with the spirit of my request, and provide minutes of any meetings at which the proposal to close Forest House (with or without consultation) was discussed and arrived at, and not just references to the consultation re. same.
Could you please also advise when the consultation document was published, and what actions were taken to make interested parties aware of it?
Yours sincerely,
Claire Simmons
