Proposed alteration of MOL boundaries, Brunswick Park N14

Enfield Council did not have the information requested.

Dear Enfield Council,

The London of Borough of Barnet, in connection with Barnet NHS (http://www.barnet.nhs.uk/ec/folders/Prev...) , are seeking to alter the boundaries of MOL in Brunswick Park, N14 through the vehicle of a Planning Application B/01960/10 (not through DPD process).

They propose to relocate a library, car park and health centre on the MOL park land.

http://barnet.documentretrieval.co.uk/al... (user: barnet, pass: barnet).

Consultation closes on 22 June.

London Plan policy 3D.10, states:

"3D.10 Metropolitan Open Land

The Mayor will and boroughs should maintain the protection of Metropolitan Open Land (MOL) from inappropriate development. Any alterations to the boundary of MOL should be undertaken by boroughs through the DPD process, in consultation with the Mayor and adjoining authorities."

My request for information is to what consultation the London Borough of Barnet has undertaken with you about this proposed alteration to MOL boundaries.

Yours faithfully,

Daniel Hope
