AfC Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests, Achieving for Children

Dear Mr Anderson,
Your Freedom of Information request has now been considered. Please see
our response below.
Request
For each secondary school in Richmond Borough, please send me latest
figures (with relevant date) for:

1. The number and percentage of students that live within the borough.
2. The number and percentage of students that live outside of the
borough.

Response
Please see the attached spreadsheet. This data is drawn from the 2019
Spring Census and covers pupils from Year 7 to Year 13.

Please be advised that it is possible for pupils to have two addresses
against their record and the Census does not indicate which is the primary
or secondary address. In these cases duplicates have been removed so that
each pupil is left with one home address. There were approximately 110
duplicates removed.

The Department for Education also publish a cross border matrix table
showing where pupils live and where they go to school. This can be found
at the following link in the 'Underlying
Data':[1] https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics....
