Proportion of FGN and FGS voters living in E15 versus E7

The request was successful.

Dear Newham Borough Council,

For context, I am interested in estimating the relative number of voters in the Newham wards of Forest Gate North (FGN) and Forest Gate South (FGS) split between those in the west that live in the E15 postcode area, and those in the east that live in the E7 postcode.

If the requests are too onerous in total, please focus on whichever of (a), (b), (c) and (d) are easiest to answer.

(a) Do you have records or software capable of confirming or estimating the following? If so, please provide (estimates of) these figures:

(i) the number of electors in FGN with an E15 postcode;
(ii) the number of electors in FGN with an E7 postcode;
(iii) the number of electors in FGS with an E15 postcode;
(iv) the number of electors in FGS with an E7 postcode.

[By ‘elector’ I mean someone entitled to vote in local government election. However, if it is easier to answer based on a different definition, please feel free to do so].

(b) Do you have records or software capable of confirming or estimating the following? If so, please provide (estimates of) these figures:

(i) the population in FGN with an E15 postcode;
(ii) the population in FGN with an E7 postcode;
(iii) the population in FGS with an E15 postcode;
(iv) the population in FGS with an E7 postcode.

(c) Do you have records or software capable of confirming or estimating the following? If so, please provide (estimates of) these figures:

(i) the number of properties subject to council tax in FGN with an E15 postcode;
(ii) the number of properties subject to council tax in FGN with an E7 postcode;
(iii) the number of properties subject to council tax in FGS with an E15 postcode;
(iv) the number of properties subject to council tax in FGS with an E7 postcode.

[Feel free to replace ‘number of properties subject to council tax’ with a similar measure if it would be easier to answer].

(d) Please could you provide a list of all properties with their addresses, including postcodes, so that I can count how many are E15 and how many are E7:

(i) in FGN;
(ii) in FGS.

Yours faithfully,

DM Nazarian
