Dear Kirklees Borough Council,

You wrote "The Council does not hold this information as requested. However, you may
wish to submit a new request providing postcodes".

Sorry I find it incredible to believe that a council does not hold figures on how many residential properties they send Council Tax bills to, even a cursory glance at the electoral roll provides an approximate number in a ward (even though not always geographically specific), nor even an estimate of the population, though considering the density of Heckmondwike (on parallel with Shanghai and higher than London) and the rate that KMC have rushed to fill in every possible empty piece of land with housing, it could be understandable.

The request was made in good faith and to reduce the time taken in dealing with this request, and in order that a request on air quality and congestion in such a small place (rivalling big cities like Newcastle, Manchester, Belfast, Glasgow and Birmingham) could be allowed to continue (with KMC simply putting in noble sentiments suc as "we'll put it in another action plan" year after year) so that Defra and other agencies can take action against the constant pollution and prevent Heckmondwike surpassing Hong Kong for population density (not far behind as it is).

With that in mind this is a follow up request, for the number of residential properties liable for council tax purposes in the following postcodes.

WF13
WF14
WF15
WF16
WF17

I am happy to provide the 645 postcodes with the area if that will aid this request.

Yours faithfully,

Alan Garvin
