Progress from Public Interest disclosure
Dear Western Health and Social Care Trust (Northern Ireland),
Please outline the work that has taken place in full and changes that have been implemented by Human Resources and other departments/ staff since the Public Interest Disclosure was made in early January 2017 which stated that bullying, victimization, discrimination and harassment was taking place in Altnagelvin Hospital against agency workers by some Trust staff in various wards.
What measures exist now to address this that are different from the pre existing WHSCT bullying/ harassment policy.
How has WHSCT shown it is committed to helping agency workers never go through this again?
What recourse are agency workers advised to take and where is that information made available to them?
(Various agency workers have expressed that this is still very much not properly addressed, nor has it ceased/ lessened at all.)
Yours faithfully,
Joan Corrigan
