Dear Hertsmere Borough Council,

I am writing to ask that you please provide me with the spend for your Professional Services procurement at the Authority, by which I mean the procurement of projects and consultancy through Statement of Work excluding temporary agency staff.

• What have you spent on Professional Services over the last 12 months?
• What did the authority spend on professional Services Between April 2019 and March 2020?
• Between April 2019 and March 2020, which categories had the highest level of spend throughout that period?
• Has the authority planned any large construction-based projects over the next two years?
• If you have got construction projects planned, please could you provide project details, budget and timeframes?
• What is the Councils current process to engage with professional service providers? Please could you provide details of the process and name third parties if they are being used.

•            What have you spent on Professional Services over the last 12
months?    

Revenue expenditure on professional services between November 2019 and
October 2020 was £2,148,994.  We do not hold this data for capital
expenditure as it is not categorised in this way. 

 

•            What did the authority spend on professional Services Between
April 2019 and March 2020?  

Revenue expenditure was £3,520,603.  We do not hold this data for capital
expenditure as it is not categorised in this way. 

 

•            Between April 2019 and March 2020, which categories had the
highest level of spend throughout that period?  

                Contractors Payments (£1,433,410) and Grounds Maintenance
Contract Payments (£1,308,408)

               

•            Has the authority planned any large construction-based
projects over the next two years? 

                Yes

 

•            If you have got construction projects planned, please could
you provide project details, budget and timeframes?

 

Directors Arms/ Cranes Way Site, Borehamwood - In planning for 52 New
Build Dwellings. No further details available at this stage.

 

St Johns Church, Radlett - Planning Permission granted for a new church
and 6 units of affordable housing. Works due to start July 2021.

 

Orchard Close, Radlett- 3 x 1 bed, 4 x 2 beds, project tendered award
pending.  Tendered on HBC construction framework.

 

Eldon Avenue, Borehamwood - 11 x 2 bed, project tendered award pending.
Tendered on HBC construction framework.

 

Garage refurbishments to various sites- No further details available at
this stage.

 

Rossington Avenue and Croxdale Road, Borehamwood - Replacement roof
coverings.  No further details available at this stage.
