Res ipsa Loquitor

Dear NHS England,

I would like to know how NHS England organises its procurement activities. I recognise that most of your annual budget is "distributed" to and through clinical commissioning groups but am interested in how you organise the procurement you do directly (including local anc central teams/individuals) - how many people and in what organisational structure. I am NOT seeking any personal information - I am NOT asking for names, staff grades, salaries nor any other personal data.

I would like to know
- Job/role titles (eg Director of Procurement, Buying clerk etc)
- The number of people with each job/role title regardless of whetehr there is currently a vacancy or not (ie the role is on the org chart, whether someone is currently in post or not)
- How many staff overall are currently in post (FTE is probably the best measure here, but I am content with any other)
- How many roles are currently staffed by fixed term or short term consultants rather than NHS England (or other NHS) permanent staff.

Please provide this information in either Adobe pdf or Microsoft Office formats to suit your convenience.

Thank you
R I L

Yours faithfully,

Res ipsa Loquitor
